CHEETAH is a brand of malt-based energy drinks introduced by Bralirwa Brewery in Rwanda. This product has been added
to the brewery’s BG brand lineup.

To support the successful market entry of Cheetah, a malt-based
energy drink, a comprehensive branding and advertising campaign was
developed encompassing visual identity, packaging design, and a highimpact ATL brand launch.

1. Brand Identity Development
The brand identity for Cheetah was crafted to reflect energy, agility, and
boldness—qualities symbolized by the cheetah animal. A vibrant color
palette, strong typography, and a modern, edgy logo were developed
to position Cheetah as a dynamic, youthful, and performance-driven
beverage. This visual language was consistently applied across all brand
materials to ensure recognition and recall.

2. Bottle Packaging & Label Design
The bottle packaging was strategically designed to stand out on shelves.
It features: A sleek bottle silhouette appealing to the urban and active
market. A bold label design with high-contrast colors (e.g., black, gold,
and red) to convey strength and vitality. Energetic graphic elements
including motion lines and claw marks to enhance visual dynamism.
Clear brand messaging and nutritional information aligned with
regulatory standards.

3. Brand Launch Awareness – ATL Campaign
A robust Above-The-Line (ATL) campaign was rolled out to create mass
awareness and drive trial. The campaign included:


TV & Radio Commercials: High-energy adverts highlighting the drink’s
performance benefits and unique malt base, targeting youth and working
adults.

Billboards & Outdoor Media: Eye-catching visuals in high-traffic
areas reinforced brand identity and product availability.


Print Media: Ads in newspapers and magazines featured lifestyle imagery
to connect with aspirational consumers.
