This branding positions the Rwanda Cricket Association as a modern, forward-moving organization. It is a brand that celebrates its
Rwandan roots while eagerly pursuing a future of international success and domestic growth.

1. Branding Rationale: “The Trajectory of Growth”


The Core Concept: The new branding for the Rwanda Cricket Association
(RCA) is built around the concept of dynamic motion and upward
progression. It visualizes the association not just as an administrator of
the sport, but as the engine propelling cricket forward in Rwanda. The
design perfectly embodies the slogan, “Growing at every step.”


Visual Breakdown:


The Dynamic Cricket Ball: The central icon is unmistakably a cricket
ball, but it is not static. It is depicted in mid-flight, symbolizing action,
energy, and the excitement of the game.


The Path of Progress (The Stitching): The seam of the cricket ball has
been ingeniously transformed into a stylized track or road climbing
upwards. This is a literal visual metaphor for the “steps” mentioned
in the slogan, representing the journey of development for players,
infrastructure, and the sport’s popularity nationwide.


National Pride (Color Palette): The color scheme is a direct and proud
nod to the Rwandan national identity.


Green: Represents the lush fields of Rwanda (“The Land of a Thousand
Hills”), growth, and vitality.


Blue & Yellow: Drawn from the national flag, these colors represent happiness, peace, and economic advancement. The sweeping yellow and
blue lines across the ball suggest speed and a bright future.


Typography:


The lowercase “rca” uses a rounded, modern, and bold typeface. This
makes the brand feel accessible, friendly, and youthful, inviting a new
generation to participate in the sport.
