The Rwanda National Coffee Brand identity reflects the image of the coffee’s country of origin, people and culture. It is made up of the defining elements of what the brand will look like, sound like and feel like and how it will be identified and recognized by the target
market.
The Identity for the Rwanda coffee national brand is
personified by the following elements:
Elegant: The brand is inspired by Rwanda’s traditional values and culture.
Grace, movement and a strong heritage of simplicity and sophistication are
at the core of the brand.
Organic: The brand is fused by the image of rich natural resources,
environmentally friendly practices and conservation.
Authentic: The brand’s identity is built on Rwanda’s aesthetic and intrinsic
values characterized by traditional geometrical patterns, warmth and
customs.
The sun rising above the Rwandan hills represents growth, warmth, hope,
awakenings and new beginnings.
It represents how Rwanda has re-built itself, and arisen from it’s past”. It also speaks of the climate and natural growing conditions for coffee in
Rwanda. The sun is a strong symbol, it is the biggest and most organic source
of energy and it represents a “fresh and natural” product. It demonstrates
more about the quality of the product than the beans themselves.
The coffee beans are designed in such a way to represent the “One
Thousand Hills” of Rwanda, and the meandering landscapes. They speak
of movement, hills and volcanoes.
The Hills represents the natural conditions and landscapes that make
Rwanda unique.
These natural gifts contribute to the production of such a great coffee,
as the volcanic soil and high altitudes are some of the defining factors of
Rwandan coffee.
