ZURI – meaning beautiful or elegant in Swahili—embodies refined African luxury and timeless beauty.
The brand was built to represent sophistication, premium quality, and modern African confidence in the world of hair and beauty care. Every design element—from typography to material texture—echoes a balance of luxury, professionalism, and understated power.
Core Concept
“Luxury Meets Confidence”
Zuri’s identity system was designed around the idea that true beauty is
both crafted and celebrated. The brand bridges professional expertise
with luxurious personal care, speaking to clients who value exclusivity,
quality, and a curated experience.
The concept translates into a visual language of sleek minimalism, gold
accents, and tactile sophistication—all signifying indulgence and trust.
Visual Language & Design Thinking
Logo & Symbol
The circular “Z” monogram represents wholeness and self-completion,
qualities associated with inner and outer beauty.
The gold tone conveys prestige, luxury, and illumination, while the
deep black background anchors the brand in strength, confidence, and
timelessness.
The elegant serif typeface of ZURI blends modern beauty industry
sophistication with a heritage-inspired confidence, balancing classicluxury with contemporary relevance.
Color Palette
